Анотація
THE FUTURE OF SATELLITE INTERNET
In the paper the new frequency band for satellite broadcasting, called Ka-band has been reviewed. Advantages, disadvantages, and the principle of satellite operation within the specified range were presented. Future prospects of its development and application for broadband access to the Internet were discussed. The new Ka- and previously used Ku-band were compared. Examples of the new generation of satellites, using Ka-band, as well as some parameters HTS-systems were shown.
