Development of methods of using wireless sensor networks for vehicle control
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) consist of a large number of nodes of transport sensors. Each node is endowed with a communication interface, which is basically characterized by low power, short transmission distance and minimum data rate. Currently, WSN technology is distributed across a large road area to monitor traffic and the environment. This approach allows multiple intelligent transport systems applications to use primary data gathered to create intelligent solutions based on prior information. Therefore, in this paper we present the MAC protocol, which is suitable for WSN, where its nodes are intended for linear topology.
