Method of the budget loss calculation of optical network access
FTTH is a most promising technology for the development of subscriber acess networks using fiber optic cable. One of the major tasks while designing an optical network is to calculate the fiber optic loss budget which constitutes the subject of this paper. The fiber optic loss budget is defined as the difference between the optical transmitter power and the reciever sensitivity.
