Method of decreasing energy consumption in wireless
sensor networks within the improvement of the LEACH protocol
This paper proposed possible schemes for enhancing energy saving in WSN by improving the algorithm “Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy” (LEACH) Protocol. The research also analyses how to minimize energy dissipation and power required in WSN taking into consideration the total power, transmission frequency, transmission distance and transmission time between the sensors in a network.
